About ThinkNotes

While it would be great if we could remember knowledge or skills that we just acquired, the truth is that without regularly reviewing our notes, our knowledge degrades over time.

Taking time to review our notes and reflect on their lessons is not a new idea. Ray Dalio, a thinker on investment philosophy (and a billionaire hedge fund manager), said in his book, Principles, pain plus reflection equals progress. That makes sense.

This idea is also shared in the technology arena, where a development process called Scrum also advises teams to pause after each development cycle (a 'sprint') and reflect on how work processes can be improved.

Learn, Record, and Reflect.

This is the intent of ThinkNotes.
